Manager, Broker Experience
We currently have a permanent, full-time opening for a Manager, Broker Experience located in our Edmonton office. Reporting to the Vice President of Underwriting Operations and Distribution, the Manager, Broker Experience is responsible for creating and improving the digital tools and platforms that our broker partners use, ensuring their experience is seamless and efficient. This includes supporting the broker portal, managing broker files, overseeing a team that is focused on broker training and auditing digital systems as well as developing training materials, supporting broker communication and service as a subject matter expert on our Broker Management Systems integrations. This role also leads our marketing team, organizational brand promotion and the content of our broker facing website.
More specifically, the responsibilities would include the following:
What You’ll Do:
- Lead and support the team managing the Company’s broker portal, ensuring timely and effective issue resolution;
- Oversee the maintenance of the broker file management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and up-to-date broker data;
- Develop and implement broker training programs to improve adoption of digital platforms and tools;
- Provide leadership to the marketing team who is responsible for promoting Peace Hills, enhancing our broker communication as well as maintenance of the broker-facing websites;
- Act as a subject matter expert on Broker Management Systems integrations, providing support and assistance to brokers;
- Participate in execution of the operational digital initiatives;
- Manage relationships with Broker Management System vendors, ensuring platform compatibility and effective broker support;
- Partner with Regional Directors, Underwriting Operations, and IT to ensure digital initiatives align with business objectives;
- Identify inefficiencies in broker digital workflows, recommending and implementing enhancements;
- Track adoption rates, system performance, and broker feedback to drive continuous improvement.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage teams and collaborate cross-functionally;
- 7 years’ insurance industry experience required as well as CIP/FCIP designation;
- Guidewire experience would be considered a strong asset;
- Experience in broker relations, digital platforms, or underwriting operations within the insurance industry;
- Strong understanding of Broker Management Systems and digital tools used in the broker distribution channel;
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills to support brokers and internal stakeholders effectively;
- Experience in marketing, website management, training development, or digital transformation initiatives is an asset.
