Take reasonable steps to prevent further damage and do emergency clean up
Retain damaged or destroyed property for viewing by adjuster
Contact police on crime and fire losses
Contact your broker during business hours for non-emergency claims

Automobile

At the scene of an accident DO NOT admit fault
Call the police and an ambulance as required and assist the injured
Exchange information with other drivers and owners
Obtain witness names and contact information
If your car is not drivable, arrange for towing
Contact your broker during business hours for non-emergency claims
For non-collision losses secure the car from further damage
